Valve sealing application
Description: As a fluid control device, sealing is the first problem to be solved. Taking the cut-off valve as an example, the traditional method to solve the sealing problem of the moving gap between the valve stem and the valve cover is the packing seal structure. But for the working conditions with special strict requirements for external leakage sealing, bellows sealing structure is required.The bellows sealing valve is to use the scalability of the bellows to form a sealing barrier without hanging between the valve and the air to solve the leakage caused by the sliding seal. A section of the bellows is welded to the valve stem, and the other end is welded to a fixed flange to form a bellows assembly. When the valve stem moves linearly, the bellows is compressed or stretched, and the valve completes the opening and closing action. Bellows seals have higher reliability than packing seals. Especially in high corrosive, radioactive, toxic, harmful, high purity and expensive fluid systems, the characteristics are more prominent.Commonly used bellows materials are: austenitic stainless steel (06Cr19Ni10, 022Cr17Ni12Mo2, 0Cr18Ni10Ti), 316ti, HC276, inconel625.
